Kevin Bryson embarked on his law enforcement journey in 1996 with the Dallas Police Department. However, fate intervened when he crossed paths with Lori, now his wife, who resided in Lewisville. This encounter led Kevin to join the Lewisville Police Department in September 2000, where he currently serves in the Patrol Division. Over the years, Kevin has held various roles, including that of Detective in the narcotics unit, collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies to combat drug and weapons violations. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Lewisville Police Department Honor Guard in 2006 and now serves as its Quartermaster. Additionally, Kevin leads as a Platoon Leader and instructor for the Mobile Field Force, and contributes as a member of the SWAT Support Team. His dedication to professional development led him to obtain his TCOLE Instructor certificate in July 2008 and attain the prestigious TCOLE Master Peace Officer certification in December 2016. Beyond his professional commitments, Kevin cherishes spending quality time with his wife Lori, whom he's been married to for 22 years, engaging in activities such as cruising, traveling, and cherishing moments with family. They are proud parents to their son, Hunter, who is poised to follow in his father's footsteps of public service by pursuing a career in the Fire Service upon graduating from high school in May 2024. Kevin's passion for service extends to his community involvement. He was elected as the inaugural President of the Lewisville Police Foundation in 2024, with a vision to foster a sense of camaraderie and support among all police department personnel. His mission is to offer assistance and benevolence to Foundation members whenever needed, ensuring a tight-knit and supportive family atmosphere within the Lewisville PD. As Kevin asserts, "I want to support our family at Lewisville PD, and I will do everything I can to make that happen."
